Depending on which Big Bear Lake bike store you choose to rent from, our tours can start at numerous locations throughout Big Bear Lake City. Our typical tour route is a large loop, so no matter where we start you’ll be able to enjoy the full tour.

What type of bike will we use?

Our tours utilize the bicycles available from local Big Bear Lake bike shops. Each shop has a different inventory of bicycles including cruisers, front suspension mountain bikes, and electric bicycles. Selection will depend on availability at the time of your tour but we will assist you in making proper reservations with the bike shop you choose. We recommend electric bicycles for added comfort and less effort!

Do I pay separately for the bike rental?

No, the cost of your bicycle rental is included in the tour price. We will coordinate the reservations for you and pay for the rental(s). We do require that you fill out all the appropriate rental forms with the bike shop and follow their policies including leaving a credit card as collateral for any damages.

Can my child participate?

Children over the age of 13 can participate with an accompanying adult and must have prior bicycle riding experience. Child carriers, trailers and trail-a-bikes are not allowed.

Do you offer mountain biking tours on trails?

We currently only offer tours within the city of Big Bear Lake as we work to acquire permits to operate within the San Bernardino Forest. We love to mountain bike in Big Bear though! Learn more about mountain biking in Big Bear Valley.
